      <image:title>Home - Brandyn Wilcoxen</image:title>
<image:caption>They tell me I’m good at writing stuff. You be the judge. A recent journalism graduate from Southern Illinois University, I have years of experience writing sports and news at both the regional newspaper of choice — The Southern Illinoisan — and the award-winning collegiate newspaper — The Daily Egyptian. Every step along my journey has seen me take on more responsibility in an industry that seems to crave multi-talented multi-faceted people working with multimedia. In my relatively brief half-decade of writing, I’ve also found myself taking on responsibilities of copyediting, photography and even a little bit of design, although that last one is more just trying to pitch in where I can. On this site, you’ll find a selection of the work I feel best represents what I do, along with links to everything I’ve ever done. In case you were interested in knocking out a Saturday reading stories about Southern Illinois sports or anything like that. In my spare time, I enjoy cheering on the Salukis, driving to and from work, and wondering where all my spare time went.</image:caption>
